Quigley and I had the privilege of shooting a recent campaign for Express.  Everything she was wearing in the photos was from Express.  If you’ve been following either myself or Quigley for some time, then you know we LOVE a full monochromatic look – and this shoot was an opportunity for us to really dive deep into that.  We did a lot with Cobalt Blue, one of my favorite go-to colors.  We shot at Vasquez Rocks in Santa Clarita (one of our favorite locations to shoot at).  This is a popular shooting location in Southern California (lots of shows and commercials shoot here from Friends to New Girl to Star Trek).  It just looks really clean and like it’s from another planet, which makes for an interesting background.  We used the setting to create really clean lines and utilized the direct sunlight to make the photos very contrasty.  This is one of my favorite shoots to date.
