Last year I did a super fun shoot in Morocco with Veronica Hamlet of Semikah Textiles.  She travels to Morocco and sources all of these antique and vintage berber rugs from the souk there.  She has an interior design business, as well, called Hamlet Interiors. For this shoot, she wanted me to travel to Morocco with her to capture her in a more editorial style with the rugs, in the souk, out in the countryside, and really just capture some cool Moroccan vibes for the brand.  It was so fun being with someone with connections, who is so familiar with this country, and getting to go around the souk as she sourced rugs, pottery, jewelry, and glassware.  We got to stay at a really cool riad and we went out into the countryside with camels and tents (where you can camp).  It was such a cool experience and a once-in-a-lifetime shoot that I will never forget.
