Another fun shoot I recently did was for Monte the Label’s Fall Lookbook.  I know Dawn (founder and creator) through her other label called Blue Eyed Girl and have worked with her before.  We wanted the look and feel of this shoot to be cozy, warm, inside, and a location that promoted “working from home” but still allows you to look and feel your best. This collection of clothing is made to help consumers transition from working from home to going out (running errands or having dinner with friends) yet still feeling comfortable in what you’re wearing, and I think Dawn really nailed it with her selections. We shot this in Malibu, at a really cool house we found, that had wood paneling, cool furniture and art, that made for an interesting backdrop for this collection.  I think the shoot really conveyed what we were going for and our model, Devin Zweck, really nailed it with how she wore and modeled this clothing.  We had so much fun utilizing the items that were already in the house, such as little props (like the work station and ukulele) and little prisms which we shot through, fruit bowls, all kinds of things. We shot so many looks but the day when by so fast because it was such a fun shoot.  I love working with brands I truly believe in and Monte the Label is definitely one of those.
